Embedded Portal iFrame (Beta)

  • Updated

You can embed the Swap portal directly onto your page using the iframe code. However, you may need a developer's help installing this code in your Shopify store.

<iframe src="<https://returnsportal.co/r/my-store>" title="Swap Returns" width="100%" height="800" frameBorder="0"></iframe>

What is an iFrame?

Think of an iFrame as a way to create a more bespoke experience for your customers while they move through the returns process. When accessing the returns portal, your customers only see your web address and page setup.

Example

Here is an example of the original Swap portal with a background image supplied as part of the initial setup when adding photos.

Advantages

With the embedded portal iFrame, you can:

  • Maintain full control of the header and footer displayed on the portal page.
  • Provide a direct link to the portal displaying your webpage instead of needing to link it to a page, thus eliminating extra steps while maintaining consistent branding.
  • Monitor analytics and tracking data on your returns page.
