Create RMA (Override Return Shipping Fees)

Swap allows you to set various return, exchange, and credit postage fees. However, we understand the need to grant free postage to certain customers at certain times.

 

 

Overriding the Return Shipping Fees

  1. Head to the Returns tab on the left side of your dashboard.

  2. In the right-hand corner of your screen, you'll spot a green call-to-action button labelled “Create RMA.” Go ahead and click on it.

  3. After clicking, a pop-up will appear, asking for the order details and two options. Enter the order number and the associated e-mail address, and toggle on the option to “Override postage settings (force free shipping).”

  4. Click “Save.” This will open a new portal for you and your team, where you and your team can override the postage fees.

    • It is possible your pop-up does not have the option to add order details.

  6. You may now process a return, exchange, or credit on behalf of the customer with free postage when it would normally be charged.
