Create RMA (Override the Return Window)

Swap allows you to set a return window in which returns are accepted. However, we understand the need to override this policy for certain customers at certain times.

 


 

Overriding the Return Window Policy

  1. Head to the Returns tab on the left side of your dashboard.

  2. In the right-hand corner of your screen, you'll spot a green call-to-action button labelled “Create RMA.” Go ahead and click on it.

  3. After clicking, a pop-up will appear, asking for the order details and two options. Enter the order number and the associated e-mail address, and toggle on the option to “Override return window.”

  4. Select “Save.” This will open a new portal for you and your team, where you and your team can override the return window policy.

    • It is possible your pop-up does not have the option to add order details.

  5. You may now process a return, exchange, or credit on behalf of the customer outside of the specified return window.
