How to Create Additional Labels

  • Updated

Swap provides one return label per return request by default. However, a single label is not always sufficient when multiple packages are required to complete a return. To simplify this process, we’ve introduced a feature allowing you to generate up to two additional labels directly from the dashboard.

When to Use This Feature

You should use the “Create Additional Label” button when:

  • The customer needs to return multiple items in separate packages.
  • The original return label does not cover all items due to size or weight limits.

How It Works

  1. Navigate to the return request (RMA) in the dashboard.
  2. Locate the “Additional Labels” section in the right-hand panel.
  3. Click the “Create Additional Label” button.
  4. New labels (up to two additional) will appear with download options:
    • Download label: for printing
    • Download QR code: for QR-based returns (if supported)

Each label will have the exact same origin and destination address as the original.

This feature is only available for returns where the original label was successfully created using a supported carrier. Supported carriers include:

  • Royal Mail (Printed)
  • Royal Mail QR
  • Royal Mail QR + Label
  • UPS Standard
  • UPS Saver
  • UPS Standard EU
  • UPS Saver EU
  • UPS Standard NL
  • UPS Saver US
  • UPS Ground
  • UPS Domestic

Notes

  • The button will only appear if a return label has already been created.
  • This feature is not supported for all carriers; ensure the original return uses one of the listed services above.
  • Labels created using this feature are identical in content but have unique tracking numbers.
