Pricing zones are an efficient way to simultaneously manage and apply pricing strategies across multiple countries. This feature simplifies setting and updating prices for various international markets, significantly reducing the time and complexity involved.
Creating a Pricing Zone
To create a pricing zone using the Swap platform, follow these steps:
-
On the left, click the arrow next to ‘Global’ in the Swap Dashboard to open the drop-down menu.
-
Select ‘Pricing Zones’ from the menu to open the Pricing Zones page.
-
Click on the "Add Pricing Zone" button in the top-right corner of the Pricing Zones page.
-
- Name: Enter a unique name for your pricing zone.
- Countries: Select the countries you want to include in this pricing zone from the dropdown menu.
A new window will pop up titled "Add New Pricing Zone.” Fill in the following fields:
-
Setting Pricing Coefficient:
- If you wish to apply a pricing coefficient, check the "Pricing Coefficient" box.
- Choose the coefficient type (either "Increase" or "Decrease").
- Enter the coefficient's percentage value. This percentage will be applied to the base prices of all products in the selected countries. For example, a 5% increase will raise prices in this zone 5% above the base prices.
-
Check the "Add VAT to Price" box to include VAT in the displayed prices. (Optional)
-
Review the example price change at the bottom of the window to understand how the coefficient affects product prices.
-
Once satisfied with the settings, click "Save" to create the new pricing zone.
⚠️ The Pricing Zones feature relies on Shopify Markets and is only available to stores on the Advanced or Plus Shopify plans.
